Cedar Rapids Jefferson won Iowa large schools with a little above 40,000. Second place was Cedar Rapids Kennedy around 300 points behind, and behind them another 200 points was Cedar Rapids Washington. The small school winner was South Central Calhoun - I don't know their score for sure, it was either 30,XXX or 32,XXX. My school, Des Moines North, I believe is the first place medium school (we only have large and small at state) with 35,XXX.
That is all I have for scores except my team's individual, but only one was worth noting, a score just a bit above 7000 that took 3rd scholastic overall. |

Hey, don't let all of the grandiose talk of awesome scores make you think that your scores, or any person's scores, or not worth noting. The striving to learn, the struggling to succeed, the small successes here and there--that's what makes this all very important. 35,XXX is not bad, despite what others may think. That would have taken third place in our district tournament last November, and that was out of 14 schools. Keep up the good work!

There was a scoring error at the Iowa state competition. At this point, it does not appear to alter the team orders.
