Occupy Wall Street? Good or Bad? Options

Hey guys, so I've been interested in the Occupy Wall Street movements across the nation and I wanted to get y'all's view on it. Today is Historical Methods Lab, or as I call it, Meth Lab, we talked about Occupy Wall Street and whether or not it was generally a good thing or a bad thing. I just want to see if there is an argument for both sides, because I personally think that it is almost fully a bad thing. The lack of organization, the lack of clear goals, the rudeness of the protesters in response to compromises for different things like cleaning the parks, and the blocking of traffic by protesters are all a few reasons why OWS is bad. But a reasons for it being good could be that it is allowing Americans to protest corruption on Wall Street and display how disgruntled they are by the current state of things. So Is it bad or good? YOU DECIDE.

Hey folks!

Tom from Occupy Erie, here! Not too happy that we decided to do an #Occupy here in our tiny little corner of Pennsylvania, but a few dudes got it started and they've been camping in the gazebo of the park we have in downtown Erie. We've had demonstrations at UPMC, at representative Kelly's office, personally confronted our state senator Jane Earl while she was out for a beer (she was on television the night before saying that OWS "promotes incivility in politics), and last week marched in solidarity with Scott Olson and Post Office workers. That was what I have liked about Occupy so far: none of this stuff we did locally never got any press coverage, but when it started everything we did was on the evening news.

I do not like, however, the idea of making a homestead out of a park, especially in a city like mine where most residents aren't college students surviving off of a trust fund that their parents set up for them (*cough*New York*cough*) who have to leave for work or for familial obligations. I also don't like it because you are not immediately confronting anything when you sit in a park. Those are my criticisms, I could be wrong though.
