PS: I get to see either The Beach Boys, Bruce Springsteen, The Eagles, or John Mayer for "free" by volunteering for the New Orleans Jazz Festival. I'm really hoping for one of the first two, as The Beach Boys are one of my favorite bands ever, and Bruce Springsteen is just awesome.

PS: Started my own Cover the Night event for Kony 2012 for Waukesha and within hours I already have people attending and excited about it, despite the fact it's on the day of Carroll's Spring Fling. Many of the people attending I don't even know. I feel like I'm making such a difference.

When people try and raise "awareness" they're trying to provoke an emotional response, rather than rationally engage in a discourse. There's no intelligent solution being posed here, it's talking about an issue in the douchyest way possible.

PS: My choir director just arranged us a piece combining the bass line from Dave Brubeck's Take Five and the melody of The Beatle's The Night Before and it sounds AMAZING. We learned it in under one hour and I'm so excited to perform it.
