• MUSIC: The music curriculum will cover basic elements of music theory and will focus on Soviet music of the 1920s.

• SCIENCE: The science curriculum will focus on the topic of space exploration and will include a case study on the Soyuz programme.

• ECONOMICS: The economics curriculum will cover fundamental economic concepts, microeconomics, and macroeconomics. The economics curriculum will also include a thematic section focused on socialism and the Cold War.

• MATHEMATICS: The mathematics curriculum will cover topics in algebra, coordinate geometry, trigonometry, and calculus.


I just stumbled upon this and wondered why the smurf you guys were having this year's topic last year...lol.

Apparently so. I hope we really do get socialist realism for art. But music should really be a broad representation of Russia's centuries upon centuries of great music.
