How does acadec show up on your student transcripts? Our district has been doing the course as an independent study in English or social studies but is looking at changing it so I thought I would ask the experts here.

In Richardson ISD, it's an elective that satisfies only the "additional elective" category of credits.

At Morton it's considered an Independent English credit weighted as an AP course.

At Nimitz it is Independent Study in Math (elective credit) since Jackson is math certified. It has honor GPA weight. It used to be Humanities until everyone got more strict about teachers having the highly qualified label for the subjects they teach.
