Just saw news of people tying to storm the president's offices... The 2016 Olympics are already on track to have a slew of problems with athletes told to bring their own AC, unsanitary swimming venues, brownouts anticipated in the power grid, and the Zika virus. The impeachment of Dilma Roussef didn't help any, and now the political situation there could plunge even further into mayhem.
Or is this all going to clear up for "The best Olympics ever!", as the chairman of the IOC is wont to say after almost every Olympics...? |
