For the second straight year, Bangkok steals the show and stakes a claim as ROTY (Round of the Year). Fourteen schools and around 250 students gathered at new host International School Bangkok for a fun-filled two days of extraordinarily impressive team debate, persuasive writing, and problem solving. Special thanks go out to the World's Best Host ™, Dr Selena Gallagher, the Challenge and Enrichment Specialist at ISB. You are the best, Dr S, time and time again! And deep appreciation to the longtime stalwart coaches from all across Bangkok. See you all in Singapore!

Countless congratulations to individuals and teams from:

Anglo Singapore International School
Bromsgrove International School
Ekamai International School
International Community School
International School Bangkok
KIS International School
NIST International School
Pan-Asia International School
Panyarat High School
Patana School

Thank you parents, teachers, schools, alpacas... hahaha!

I love, love how WSC frequently recognizes top 10 and sometimes even top 20, not just top 3.

How does the "Honor Roll" work?

I really try not to make it sound like a religious experience when I talk about Academic Decathlon, but it isn't easy.

The Honor Roll is the next level of recognition. The framework here is flexible, to accommodate different sized events. At some events, for example, the honor roll is every bit the equivalent of a silver medal or better at other events. I'm sure you could imagine AD parallels.
