There has to be an online option to reschedule those scrimmages.

It costs the state organization $50 per team.

I would pay $50 for that.

Definitely worth contacting your State Directors then in case you haven't already done so. It's definitely doable, and can be set up with little turnaround time.

(Though actually I just remembered that I think they upped the price to $9/student this year... could be wrong, but they were at least planning on it.)

Canyon's coach moved to NorCal, and they were't able to find another coach at their school. Also, most of their team last year was seniors. I know their coach started a team at his new school.

Yup, he's at Sir Francis Drake HS now in Marin County! Sad Canyon's program died, but I'm thinking Drake is a name we'll all be quite familiar with in a few years. cool.gif

Scrubbing through last year's region scores, I can't even find that school. Are they fresh to decathlon?

Bummer he left Canyon. Built something good at Canyon. However I approve of building yourself a powerhouse smile.gif

Sir Francis Drake's team competed at the Capital Region Scrimmage in Sacramento a few weeks ago for their Round 1 and got a combined score of 16,623.

How sad, Edison wouldn't have even made the list of the top 106 teams reporting a score over 20K. Hopefully, we've built up enough energy to at least make the list for round 2.

That's unfortunate to hear; sad to hear it's another tough year for you guys. :/

When I came back to this thread and saw this post I was momentarily under the impression that Sir Francis Drake was actually coaching a team. Now that would have brought the 2012 season to life.
