We've learned that having a good or solid math score is so much more important than any of the other objectives. You have to put in the same amount of hrs into math as the objectives you spend the most time on. Anyone can bs a read through the art or music guide and get a 600 or 700. You can't bs a 700 in math, unless already very talented in math. There will always be time at home to read and study if you want it. Math is something that continually needs to be worked out and kept strong. Puts you at a real advantage too, especially in the scholastic and varsity categories.

Just got back home from a very long past two days. We found out recently that our V2 and V3 had a 3.00 and 3.01 gpa, so they moved up to S3 and S4 respectively. We totaled 34.6k on R1, and I'm pretty with how my team has done. We need to continue to push harder than ever to get better every day though.

Here were our scores

H1 Ben 6740
H2 Jess 6060
H3 Darren 5742
S1 Peter 6060
S2 Obeso 5891
S3 David 5434
S4 Kelly 5368
V1 Nat 5897
V2 Mark 4043

Math and Econ was pretty easy, while Science and Music were a bit difficult. The others felt regular.

Full individuals scores should come out this week, but I only know Westminster and ours. Truthfully, the only of ours worth sharing is our Honors:

H1: 5,934.3
H2: 5,825.7
H3: 5,448.6

Our Scholastics severely underperformed and our Varsities weren't great. But, we are only ~1000 points behind Valencia and I know we are much better than this. I will post full individual scores once I know them.

CDO and 10 other teams from AZ, as well as Highland Park and Rockwall from TX, and El Camino Real from CA, will be taking the AZ version of the Round 1 tests on December 3. The Mesa schools (Mesa Mountain View, Westwood, Red Mountain, etc) will take them the following week.

That's awesome! For future reference, Stockdale from Bakersfield would also love to be included in this scrimmage. Not sure how it works for El Co - are they coming out to Arizona? - but we'll do whatever it takes to participate!

An AZ-TX-CA scrimmage?! I don't know if there's even a precedent for this. This will be amazing. popcorn.gif

I'm pretty sure this has never happened before. I am so happy that Ms. Franklin decided to bring ECR to our scrimmage.
