Essay scores are brutal. This is the best team of writers I've ever had. Better than the 2011 State champion team. Just received the worst essay scores ever in my 8 years of coaching. The other subjectives were not particularly kind either, though nowhere near as bad as essay.

Apparently Lubbock High School is competing in Region IX this year, alongside the Frisco schools. They're usually Region I but they're the only Medium school in the region this year, so.

We should be able to get scores out of here relatively early- the clickers are very effective.

Dulles places third in VII with a 42,682; 1st in SQ with 24
Honors Brian- 8,332 3rd (477 on essay) Jr Archibald- 7,033 Jr Justin- 6,651 Jr (scholastic playing up) Scholastic Allison- 7,381 Jr Daniel- 7,278 Jr Mohammad- 7,454 Sr Varsity Jason- 6,009 Jr Allen- 6,472 Jr Marium- 5,820 Sr Other teams in a little bit. Clements 1st, Taylor 2nd, Seven Lakes 4th (beat them by about 100). I can't state enough how proud I am of these kids- they trusted in me, they worked very hard, and they got us to our first state meet since (I believe) 2002. The future is bright here, starting with next month. |

Awesome job for your first year!!
![]() VII is proving pretty enigmatic this year. Was not expecting Taylor to be that high up. |

Objectives: 29,047; Subs: 13,5xx
Taylor's top honors broke 9k at 9,002. They also had top varsity at 7,5xx. Clements had honors at 8,4xx, Scholastic at 8,1xx, Varsity at 6,8xx Morton Ranch had scholastic at 7,7xx (not underdog- sorry I didn't get to meet you) Seven Lakes had varsity at 7,3(?)xx Subs aren't deflated. We're not good at them yet. |

If you want to say that, it is fine. I'm not trying to divulge personal info.
Clements- 44,902 Taylor- 44,729 Dulles- 42,682 Seven Lakes- 42,576 Morton Ranch I would guess around 40- had a solid varsity get some medals too I believe. If any of the coaches are upset I'm posting these, I'm sorry. |

As Regionals results trickle in, they're being documented here on DDSIC!!
Also, for the first time, there are individual pages per each Regional competition. ![]() Region I Region II Region III Region IV Region V Region VI Region VII Region VIII Region IX Region X Region XI Region XII Hopefully this year we can successfully document every Honors over 7k, Scholastic over 6.5k, and Varsity over 6k, so if you have any info, please share! :3 According to an anonymous edit someone just made on DDSIC, HIGHLAND PARK comes in first in X, followed by ROCKWALL-HEATH and then... RICHARDSON?! Congrats, Marin; your school must've done awesomely!! ![]() (scores were not added; anyone have 'em?) |
