So it's technically supposed to go out Sunday...what's the over/under for each of your schools' receiving day? I'm thinking of setting the line of Tuesday, but I could see if moving to Tuesday and a half.

I already have my resources for the Cisco VPN test, so I'm good.

Same, receipt and download code came last week. I assume this means I will have access immediately when the files are uploaded. This promptness helps make up for the delayed e-nats results.

PDF page counts...
Art: 126
Economics: 126
Literature: 96
Math: 176
Music: 163
Science: 81
Social science: 116

Epubs are not ready yet and are promised "sometime after May 15." That's helpful.

Did anybody notice that the entire periodic table is not only printed at the back of the science guide, but it is also included for reference at the end of the science section of the practice test book? I guess I assumed that they would expect the kids to memorize the relevant parts of the table rather than provide it for them.

Maybe they're finally trying to move away from pure memorization and are trying to focus more on learning what the periodic table is saying rather than memorizing a bunch of elements and stuff. However, I haven't yet read the Science guide, so I guess I can't judge one way or another yet

No memorization of the periodic table? Well, to be fair, I only had to memorize the first 20 elements, and that was back in 1983. Thank goodness nobody has to memorize the whole dang thing. That would be insane.

I'm happy with the longer resource guides. Hopefully it will lead to difficult tests.

Can anyone who has received their resource guides answer this question for me? Does the Social Studies resource guide contain many military maps? I don't seem to recall too many military maps in the 2013-14 World War I Social Studies Resource Guide but was wondering if next year's topic might potentially be a little more oriented towards military strategy type of questions. Thanks in advance.

The only maps in the Social Science resource are in Appendix A, and aren't really military in nature.

You want military maps?

http://www.usma.edu/history/SitePages/Atlases.aspx

I bought physical atlases of these back in the 90s, but they're all online now. These accompany the appropriate courses and textbooks at West Point.

I am now plunging down a rabbit-hole...
