So all ten of these teams plus three more are going to states? Holy cow!

Plus FOUR more!! That's incredible! Also, gotta point out that crazy improvement by Chatsworth from R1 to make it into the top 10! Here's hoping CAD will put out the divisions listings soon (with a blank for San Diego County, of course)... brb frantically refreshing

Edit: North Hollywood, Hamilton, Valley Academy, and Narbonne are the other four (in that order)!

The old retired guy is very proud of the LAUSD Decathletes and Coaches. Special congrats to Chatsworth and Valley Academy who are going to State for the first time ever.

ABUELO!! :') I had no idea it was Chatsworth's first time too; that's awesome!! Go them!!

Abuelo, terrific to hear from you! smile.gif Yes, you should be proud!

The LA Times article on LAUSD is finally out. It includes some moving quotes from the top scorer. http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-l...0211-story.html

Kudos to all of these teams! What an odyssey of learning.

That means that without Super Quiz Grant was 45,865.9 and Bell 46,326.3!

First time El Camino won regionals since 2004.

They last won in 2009 but it’s still a long time.

When ECR beat GHC at Nats 2014, they had a record breaking scholastic. They beat them at Regionals this year and have record setting Honors and Varsity.
