For those who want to keep up with last year's topic: someone is live-tweeting WW2. I guess they did it once before, but they just started their 2nd time through. It's September 3, 1939, and Germany invaded Poland two days ago. They'll be doing this for the next six years.

What do the comments look like?

--------------------
The "m" is silent and "Zzzptm" is only one syllable...
"The world could perish if people only worked on things that were easy to handle." -- Vladimir Savchenko
"Plan B is Plan A with an element of panic." -- John Clarke

One of the healthiest things in my life is not reading comments on articles or pretty much anything else on the web. But I just went and checked...sometimes it's decent historical discussion, sometimes there are jokes about fake news, and sometimes it degenerates into sarcasm about sanctions, antifas, and other trolling. Stick to the original posts and ignore the rest.

I do historiography, though... also network security... the fact that the two intersect in the form of Russian botnets is, itself, a frustrating commentary on our times.
