Thank you to everyone who participated in the WSC Houston Round, especially the amazing host, Wunsche High School, the tournament directors/organizers, Zac, Daniel, Athena and Tom, and all of the competitors.

I am beyond overwhelmed by the success of my team this weekend. World Finals are in 3 weeks- Bangkok, here we come! yahoo.gif

Pasadena won it all. They were phenomenal as expected and gracious and engaging as always.
I believe the California school that came took 2nd.
Warren (us) had the 3rd and 5th.

The top 5 qualified for Global Round (we can't afford Bangkok as well as passport issues).
Additionally, the top 5 advance to the first ever USAD/WSC Tournament of Champions to be held at Yale in late September.
We are massively excited about that opportunity.

The only score sheet I have is my own, and I only got that because I specifically asked....but I can email it to you. I'm not able to get it to copy and paste here.

We did very well. We swept the top 3 students overall and one of my teams of 3 was the top team. They actually had the highest total so far this year in Scholar's Cup. That was pretty exciting.

It seems we are going to World Finals in a few weeks, where I am told we have a significant chance to dethrone the current world champions from Singapore. I will keep everyone posted!

And Terry, as always, thank you for your kind words. smile.gif
